IA²C (Indo-African Agricultural Capital) is a conduit for the investment of intellectual and financial capital into sustainable, pro-poor but profitable commercial agriculture in emerging markets.

Its founding partners represent between them almost 100 years’ experience in radical farming systems innovation; sustainable allocation and exploitation of natural resources; the formulation of agricultural sector policy and investment strategies;  irrigation engineering; institutional design;  micro-credit; agricultural economics and pro-poor investment/fund structuring.  They believe strongly that the rural poor could play a major role in the achievement of global food security and as such, are committed to the demonstration and scaling up of equitable, socially beneficial production models.  Equally, and wherever possible, they are eager to implement radical new production innovations that have the potential to increase total factor productivity while mitigating climate change and reducing significantly the environmental footprint of profitable agriculture.
